How hot is the water in the hot tub?
It’s up to you! The water in the tub is adjustable depending on your personal preference and the current weather. If it is a cool day out or you are renting it for a morning/evening cruise the water can be set at a maximum of 104 degrees Fahrenheit (but we recommend a bit cooler so that you can enjoy the water for a longer period of time). On those warm San Diego days, we can turn off the heating element to allow the water to be a refreshing “pool-like” temperature. This way you can hang out on the boat and cool off in the tub instead of having to take a dip in the waters of the bay.
Can I rent the pontoon boat without the use of the hot tub for less money?
Yes, we have a rental option where the cover is left on the tub and the water is drained. This option is offered at a lower cost.
Is there an option to have cool water in the tub during hot days so that I can take a refreshing dip without having to swim in the bay?

If your rental is cut short you will only be charged for the time you use the boat and we will work to schedule another cruise. Rentals will only be cancelled due to "dangerous" weather conditions. A $100 deposit is required for all reservations and this will not be refunded if you cancel your reservation due to "non-dangerous" weather.
What if we accidentally break something on the boat?
As a part of the HTC pre-cruise orientation and post-cruise check-out, you will do a "walk around" of the boat to identify any pre-existing damages.
